Yea, G-reg_Hippo, that is cool; it's been up there for awhile. I love the Qui-gon/Obi-wan combo and the Mr. T/Hannibal combo. ;)

I kind of got the same feeling, Brian, but that's pretty much exactly what Rhett said, and I didnt want to write something wrong.

The one comment says:
"If you gather all seven clues, you will have a chance to win the grand prize, "
The way I heard it was that you could actually open the final door without all of the clues, but it would be much harder. So you don't have to have all the keys to win. You won't be disaqualified if you can't repeat them all. Having all the clues is the only way to guarantee you have the same chance as everyone else to figure out where the ultimate door is.
At least that's what I heard when I went back and listen to it a second and third time...
But I'm thinking I should disqualify myself :( :( :( too many ppl (when *I* win) would say that I *might* have had access to stuff that could clue me into things others wouldn't know about. So I'm bummed. Even though I would disaqualify myself if I ever came across something like that, I think I should only play along.
My kids and wife still want to play though. I'll have to talk to the guys about that...

Hey guys, I love your show, but last night I did in fact find that I was hanging for several minutes at a time.
It was ok because I could still hear the audio just fine but the browser window didn't have any video and the browser window seemed frozen.
Yes I know this is the comments section not the "technical support" section but I'm running a 2.4 with 1gig of ram on a cable modem.

Thanks Nigel and thanks Link...i am familiar with Grandmaster Flash. I, however, am not so grand, but oh so funky!!! Ed was a sweet guest and I have thoroughly enjoyed his videos....you guys are awesome....And if anyone wants to be apart of the Super-Mega-We'regonnawin-OhSoFunky-All-Ohio(and surrounding areas) Alliance for the 7key7door contest...just drop me a line....peace

Alright guys, here's a list of your "guidelines."
A new community building exercise will be released the first Thursday of each month. On this same Thursday, the winners from the last month's community building exercise will also be announced.
(To enter a community building exercise, you must make a response to the designated YouTube video, and then send an email to rhettandlinksubmit@gmail.com with subject line that will be specified in advance.)
Everyone who enters the community building exercise will receive a general prize. For the next six months (for what equals seven total months, including this one), the general prize will be a secret song. Within each song, there is at least one clue.
If you gather all seven clues, you will have a chance to win the grand prize, which will involve Rhett and Link flying to your town and playing a concert for you and your friends at your home, or the place of your choice. (Depending on your location, you and your friends may be flown to Lillington, instead.)
Lastly, there are no rules. Clues can be exchanged amongst participants, but remember--Each clue given to someone else decreases your chance of winning the ultimate prize.

ooh the 7 keys sound very mysterious, and yet at the same time, very rewarding. i liked that show. you guys just keep on getting better and better and the chatroom has been absolutely awesome!(thanks brian and kim!) and also for people that complain about lag every week... the live kast page on rhettandlink.com/live has a tremendously less amount of lag then if you were on ustream. two songs :o i still want to make a video with my friend matt but he's a party pooper and spends his life on the computer goofing off playing war games. so i'll be there next thursday and hopefully we can get to talk to allsion again! :D : D :DDD

Great show last night guys! Thanks for showing my video. :)
Also, in case you might be interested, I saw this thing promoting an online film festival featured on youtube the other day, and thought you guys might be interested in checking it out for your film Looking for Ms. Locklear. The website is www.fromheretoawesome.com

Wow I can't believe you all are gonna fly out to someone's place and do a concert! That's totally awesome! And hey I'm glad to help. It is lots of fun to be able to do it.
And I just went out to google to find that "Harris Teeter" is a grocery store ( http://www.harristeeter.com/ ). Who knew? It sounded like a furniture store or maybe a chocolateer... So this is definitely a learning experience too.
btw the movie Link wanted to remember was "Flight of the Navigator" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnB7rIL2fy8 That's the problem with human memory... we leak
Brian Layman · Feb 29, 2008 12:50am
and I don't know why I just called you G-flash. i guess i was thinking Grandmaster Flash--the first hiphop artist inducted into the RocknRoll Hall of Fame:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandmaster_Flash
Link · Feb 28, 2008 11:53pm
G-flash-
in response to your comment...
perhaps someone will, like I said, replay the show and reduce the guidelines down to writing...and then share it amongst the--there's that word again--community.
we can't do it all, you know. and that wouldn't be as fun anyways!
Link · Feb 28, 2008 11:50pm
Is there a place that we can find the rules...i mean...guidelines....i mean suggestions to the CBE? May be nice to have written down so we know what to look for....Great show tonight guys...I'm excited to see who wins the CBE this month...all the videos were great...i think they'll continue to get that way...everyone is stepping up....Funkmaster out!
Funkmaster Flash · Feb 28, 2008 11:39pm
Oh, thanks for the halfhearted apology Blink. I thought I had it in the bag. Rhett had it right. Chp. is shorthand for chapter. Way to go Rhett! Grow your handlebar mustachio back and I'll stop abusing you. You looked tough then.
