Watch our latest live Kast here, now:
WE'VE AMPED THE INTERACTIVITY!!
Tonight, we took phone calls from the live audience via Skype and our new phone number (919-9-RLK-FAN)! A special thanks goes out to our diligent phone screener/operator Kim (Lolenna). Thanks Kim! We think it was a successful experiment! Please comment on this blog and let us know what you think. Do you have any ideas for improving the call-in process, moving forward? Did you want to participate, but ran into a technical difficulty? Let us know. Do you have any ideas for future topics of call-in conversation? YOU shape the show. This is internetainment, people!
FEBRUARY CBE WINNERS!
We were blown away with all the excellent responses to our Dead iPod Song! This is fun! Everyone who submitted a video got a special prize--our first Secret Song. This song is the first of seven keys. Remember, you don't necessarily need all the keys to reach the ultimate destination. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, ask around...or watch last week's show.)
In addition, we awarded the top three winners with some Rhett&Link memorabilia from our Cornhole Song video shoot. Congratulations!!!

EVERY entrant gets the next Secret Song. The top two winners receive Rhett&Link memorabilia from the Dead iPod video production.
I would love to participate in your legedary show.
But what about LOST?
Please don't make me choose between you and LOST...because you know what'll win.
I pick LOST. I don't have a choice here. My hands are tied. I pick LOST over a conversation. I pick LOST over CBE!!!
I pick LOST.
Why on a Thursday? Why would you put me in this situation?
I need some perspective.

This website is changing my life.
I'm from Canada.
Actually...this website just started my life.

I'm sad I missed this show - I would have called in. Long story short: I shattered my big toe when it got smashed in an elevator...not pretty, lot's of blood. I'll leave it at that.
JGHue · Mar 11, 2008 10:21am
great show, guys. my favorite thus far! The commercial made me laugh out loud, and it woke up my wife. You guys are causing marriage problems!
BeninAsheville · Mar 9, 2008 3:14pm
1. I live in north carolina too!
2. i had just finished "the end" in the series of unfortunate events by lemony Snicket, and they also used the phrase "it depends on how you look at it" and he described it as a very polite thing to say.
3. in that same book, Kit Snicket was in labor, and the siblings had helped her give her baby in the sand of the island.

yeah nicole, i think im gunna buy myself a can of murray's as well! rhett you are an inspiration!
G-reg_hippo · Mar 8, 2008 11:37am
I thought of an idea for what you could talk about next week....you could talk about how when a blizzard comes to your area and you get snowed in at your mother-in-laws house...that would be a good topic....ok...maybe it wouldn't but, that's what happened to me last night....i think i'm just bitter....good thing i like my mother-in-law
peace
Funkmaster Flash · Mar 8, 2008 10:39am
Bahaha. Rhett actually inspired me to go out and buy a can of Murray's, as I've been looking for a good hair gel-substitue for a play I'm in.
The stuff is like magic.
O-O

in response to your friend wheeler, this has been something that has been eating away at me for the whole day. the bridge of your nose isn't a bone, it's hard cartilage. just had to say it, that's all.
G-Reg_Hippo · Mar 7, 2008 4:48pm
this definitely looks like something i can accomplish and do, not like the last one wasnt, but i think this one, time is just perfect. i never miss these shows for the world and they are the most entertaining hour of my week, but the lag issue was eery last week. it kind of creeped me out. see ya then!
This is a link to google of an image of murray's polmade just so you know about the wonders of it.

G-Reg_Hippo · Mar 7, 2008 3:49pm
Well I think you should do a Near-Death Experience Show. I would have so many to choose from.
Um and my 'medicine' or whatever is going to be called "Alife"
As in, "You need Alife."
Or, "Alife, Live a life worth living."

*NEWSFLASH*
I just made Titles available for your CBE vids...but you don't have to use em. (The mp3 will be available shortly.) Have fun with it!

OhEmtophobia · Mar 7, 2008 10:50am
again didn't get to see it, being that it's on at 2am over here..but awsome show!
lee · Mar 7, 2008 10:06am
The show always goes by really fast, but I think especially last night because of the call in portion. I think it went really well considering it was such a big undertaking. I agree that it shouldn't be an every week thing, because I felt like I missed a lot of you guys last night and I missed the other segments. I need more advice and things that have never been said before!
sunny_gf · Mar 7, 2008 10:01am
Hey guys - great show last night. Unfortunately I have to work today during the office hour... so if you felt like recording and uploading the office hour I know at least I would watch it and be happy. :-)
julia1218 · Mar 7, 2008 8:33am
Well first i wanna say last nights show was awesome, the broken bone stories were really entertaining, and as usual so were you. I think you should only do call-in shows like every other week or something because u dont have enough time to do some of ur other segments (you wouldnt run out of topics as fast either).
And just a question but in the blog it says the top 3 winners of the CBE get something, but in the video you only said 2, so which is it?
OhEmetophobia · Mar 7, 2008 7:42am
Looking forward to the 5 page report of Link's memory loss and broken pelvis, that was such a funny story.
This was the best show yet!
ShoezUntyed · Mar 7, 2008 1:53am
One last question can you guys post the image for teh perspective Logo
Brian Nash · Mar 6, 2008 11:37pm
Oh wanted to say I think you guys made good choices for your winners
Brian Nash · Mar 6, 2008 11:29pm
Great Show as always keep up the good work.
I think a great call in topic would be awkward dates. I have a few from my single days, but alas I'll be at work again so I can't call in.
Brian Nash · Mar 6, 2008 11:08pm
:D
Question I think I might know the answer to already:
Are we allowed to submit multiple entries from the same account?
And I totally think you guys should do something like "Embarassing Moments" or "Weirdest Dreams." Or, if you're looking or something a little less cliche, you could try something like "Best Phone Prank."
:D
And calling in was fun.
I had to call like...eight times, though.
Nicole (RandomNigel) · Mar 6, 2008 10:52pm
Hey Guys...Great show tonight...it was awesome....I would like to comment on how awesome it was to be on the show and skype works great. The transitions from Kim to you guys was awesome and easy. And with the threatening of my "man card" during the call-in, i immediately had to watch football, lift weights, talk about tanks and light things on fire. I think i've earned my card back.
I say next week we talk about "when animals attack" stories. "We've seen the videos, now talk to the victims"
I don't get to a computer until about 1:30pm on fridays so hopefully you'll still be broadcasting tomorrow around that time like last week....
You guys rock...Funkmaster Out!
Funkmaster Flash · Mar 6, 2008 10:46pm
Great show as always guys! I'm hoping to get in a response for the CME this month. I thought the skype worked pretty well too, it was nice to hear the guests so clearly.
My suggestion for next week's call-in would be "fire stories". I'm guessing there's lots of great pyro type related stories out there.
Keep up the good work!
J_Gold · Mar 6, 2008 10:38pm
an idea for the show next week: Food Disasters! whether it be that you seriously messed up while cooking something, or you found something nasty in your food, or you were involved in some horrific food fight...idk just thinkin'
leggomyeggo · Mar 6, 2008 10:30pm
Thanks so much guys! This was your best show yet! (In terms of content and especially in terms of quality. Ustream really worked well. :D )
Also got the secret song. It was amazing, although so far I have no idea what the key is. lol
