When you encounter someone famous, someone you really respect or admire, what do you do? You ask for an autograph. We all know about Rhett and Link’s signed picture of Judge Judy (a connected Mythical Beast hooked them up with that one) and we know that they have a forged autographed photo of Boris Yeltsin.
My kids have a book of autographs that they got standing in lines when we were on vacation – the signatures include Belle, Winne the Pooh, and Mickey Mouse. (I’m not convinced of their authenticity, though.) The only autographs I have are from Rhett and Link themselves, on a frame that we won in a KBE.

Mythical Beast, Scott (ThunderFalconDragon) has an autographs in a very unusual place – his computer:

Apparently, his computer has been signed by Zack Snyder (director), on the left and on the right Frank Thomas (baseball player).

This got me thinking – Whose autograph do you have? Where is it? How did you get it? Leave a message in the comments and let us know.   Plus, post a pic in the Kommunity and link it here!

My boyfriend and I actually just went to the mythical meetup in LA and got our macbook signed. :D

THAT is by far, the COOLEST autograph ever. :]

I had a plastic Star Wars cup from Burger King autographed by David Prowse (Darth Vader) and gave it to a friend for his birthday.

Rebekah~ I am totally jealous of your Jamie Cullum autograph. I’ve loved his stuff for years, but I’ve never made it to his shows; he’s way underappreciated in the States!

Let’s see, I have a bunch of Disney autographs on a stuffed Pluto dog (Dale signed it on the butt, and when Pluto saw it, he silently cheered and hoisted it up in the air), my “Divine Discontent” CD signed by Sixpence None the Richer, and some posters signed by some adult contemporary Christian artists from the ’90s (I may also have some recent sigs from some underground Chicago bands, but not sure where). But the best signatures I have are Rhett and Link’s, on a photo from the ’80s video, for donating my Simon. ;)

I actually have more photos with famous people than signatures because I never seem to have a pen on me, lol.

I’ll only share the best ones, oddly they seem to be all from the same person, except one. All right so I’m a huge Matt Nathanson fan, and have been for almost a decade. The first show I saw him at he was an opener, I liked what I saw and heard so I bought his record during the break between sets, unfortunately I had no place to put the CD so I literally had it stuffed down my jeans for the remainder of the concert. Anyway, after the show let out he was outside the venue signing things for people, I waited patiently, went up to him asked him if he’d sign my CD, and then promptly told him “this has been in my pants all night, pockets weren’t big enough.” I knew he’d appreciate this, because if you’re not aware of Matt Nathanson’s sense of humor you should be made aware of it, it’s fantastic! So, yes…. he looks at me laughs of course, and lovingly signs it “To Rebekah, it was great being in your pants! Matt Nathanson” Since then I’ve seen him numerous times, each time I’ve waited around to get things signed, and each time something funny happens, either he spells my name wrong and makes a great effort by scratching out the mistake and then writing that I, and I quote “Rochks.” Oh, other great autograph story, Jamie Cullum(the jazz musician), signed my glasses… he seemed quite amused with that request and the knowledge that they broke during his show.
