Through the new online magazine, The Fayetteville Feed, he wants to capture the magic of print mags like Rolling Stone and repackage them for the web, keeping mainstays like front covers intact (as opposed to most online outlets that have settled for text and a few images). So, even though we’re not bringing you the RhettandLinKast Live, you can still enjoy some all-new entertainment from us. Check your local listings, tell your friends and family, set your DVRs to record, and check it out! Brink’s normal broadcast slot is Mondays at 10:30PM, and we’ll be debuting two more science-themed music videos on the show this season. Now that we’re official troubadours for the show, we’re being considered “contributors”. We’ve always dreamed of being on a team of correspondents that included Winnie from The Wonder Years.

What about you? Do you get the Science Channel at your house? From what we’ve heard, if you’ve got satellite or basic cable you probably do (so now you’re without excuse).

Another useful feature, especially for you, is that now you can make your name clickable and have an associated avatar for all blog comments. Along with our new Kommunity, this should all add up to more interactivity between all of us.

Over 300 of you have already made the smart choice and joined the RhettandLinKommunity. As if you didn’t already waste enough time on the Internet watching the two of us Internetain you, we’re now offering a whole new level of Internetiness.

The Kommunity is a social network for people who are willing to publicly consider themselves our fans. We’ve provided a lot of ways to connect with other Kommunity members, and we’re going to be spending a lot of time there ourselves.

Several of you have already started some interesting discussions on the forum, and we’ll be replying often to “Burning Questions for Rhett&Link”. The Kommunity is also THE place to participate in the Summer 2009 Kommunity Building Exercise. You can upload your audio, video, or photo creations and win prizes such as props from our videos. We’ll also be vlogging regularly over the summer about Kommunity happenings, and just to keep you updated on what we’re working on.

We may be taking a break from the regular live show, but we’re not taking a break from Internetainment. We’re actually introducing some really cool new tools for all of us to stay connected.
