- Broke 100,000 subscribers on Youtube
- Tallied over 1,000,000 historical visitors to RhettandLink.com
- Signed with DFTBA Records, and released (well, pre-released) a NEW ALBUM.
- Released Looking for Ms. Locklear on DVD
- Landed a musical correspondence gig on the Science Channel show Brink.
- Featured on the Jay Leno Show, CNN, TMZ, E! News, Fox News.
- Two appearances on the John Boy and Billy Show.
- Link was quoted in USA Today
- Featured in a story on NPR’s All Things Considered
- Guests on WUNC’s The State of Things
- Ashton Kutcher finally started following BOTH of us!
But, there’s one milestone that stands apart from the rest. We finally created a home and a name for that special group of people who are strange enough to consider themselves a loyal fan. The RhettandLinKommunity is now the home of the Mythical Beasts, and that changes EVERYTHING [cue dramatic music]. Thanks for being a beastly Beast. Here’s a thank you song especially for YOU.

DUDES! Where did you get the painting that was on my grandparent’s wall? And how did it shrink? That barn/horseshoeing hung in the spare room for YEARS. Actually.. you shrank it somehow.. it used to be 5ft by 3ft or something like that… Wow that’s just weird…

Link I am not kidding they are fans they had decided they liked the name Lincoln and then got to thinking of various names that might go with it and thought hey why not. I’ll post pictures of them from toay once I get mom and dads permission

Just visiting with friends who had identical twin boys at the beginning of December last we had heard before Christmas they hadn’t had names yet well we now know there names …
They named the Boys Rhett and Lincoln, and guess which one is the quiet one and which one is the loud one.
I didn’t know Ashton started following Rhett! That’s AWESOME! It was a good year and I’m glad to have shared some of it with the kommunity

Ah, 2009…..it was this year that I became a fan. It’s all thanks to taco bell posting the fast food folk song on facebook, and I’m so glad they did.
