Yes, you read that correctly. Tonight at 9PM EST on the RhettandLinKast Live, we’re interviewing Mike Kollmansberger, a passenger from the US Airways flight that ended in the cold Hudson River. We’re hoping that you agree that this is a pretty big stinkin’ deal, and we’re excited to present Mike’s story in a way that only the internet can do. This will be a behind-the-scenes, step-by-step retelling of the events of that day, and you’ll even be able to call in and ask Mike some questions of your own. So, email your friends and family right now and tell them to tune into the live page tonight at 9PM EST!
Comment below with what you think we should ask Mike.

Hey there!
J.I. Packer says that the Bible’s answer to all the “Why God?” questions is “For God’s glory”…I was wondering how Mike has seen God glorifying Himself through this near-death experience?
Thanks!
I noticed he said he’s a believer in God. Has this experience strengthened his religion?
Hey Mike, I shared a bathroom with you in Kosice one time. I can’t believe you were on that plane! Praise God!
It was the skill of the pilot that saved them. Give a little credit where credit is due!
only by the grace of God were all those people saved. God is demonstrating how awesome he really is..
Has this is any way put you off towards using an airplane as a means of transportation?
ask him what he knows about Jesus
That’s awesome, I’ll totally be watching. However, past that excitement, I have an interesting anecdote regarding you all. I’ve never once in my life watched nightline, but for some reason it recorded last night on my dvr, seemingly of it’s own volition. Anyway, as you probably know, you guys were on (albeit, only for a couple seconds, but still) it. Which was completely amazing, it made my day!!! So congratualions on everything!!!!
Oi vey.. you have to do this when it’s MY turn to take calls !! yowza! eheheheh
ok.. it’s totally cool, I will try to keep up!
I have a job interview tonight guys, or I would watch. I’ll try to catch it later when you post the show.
I’d be interested to know if the women and chldren got off first. If they did let women and children go first, ask if it was forced on them by the rescuers, or if it was nobely volunteered by the men on board.
I’m just grateful that this time around the passengers weren’t watching their possible demise on the tv screens like that one episode a few years back. That was horrible. I can’t make it to the show tonight but I’ll watch it later. Looking forward to meeting Mike and hearing what his take on the whole thing was.
Ask him if he was one of the people who were totally unaware they were about to land in the water. I saw a woman on TV who said she thought the plane landed on the ground until someone told her.
Did the plane fill up with water at any point when you were waiting for the rescue boats to come?
Did you try to call anyone on a cell phone during the crash?
Are you going to change anything about your life now that you lived through this accident?
i ment to say or in a manly tone not of lol
you should ask him if he was sreaming like a girl of in a manly tone! lol or just acted like he had had that happen to him before and was pretending like he knew what he was doing and was trying to give people false directions on what to do in that sort of situation.:P lol
or just ask him if he was wondering if he was going to die if he was going to go to heaven or hell.
What was going through your head the second you knew the plane was going down?
How were you told the plane was going down?
How did you feel when you found out you survived somthing as big as that?
How did the other passengers act?
How long did it take for you to recover the shock?
Have you been on a plane before? Any similar events?
What happened to your lugguages?
Are you afraid of getting on planes now?
Any advice for how to act in such situations?
Do any of the passengers have footage from inside? My question- we’ve heard a lot of stories about courage. I want to know (without identifying them) who showed the biggest LACK of courage. No PC answers. Nalts wants a story about someone that did what HE would have done. Pissed all over himself, screamed, and knocked over women and children to save himself.
I’m going to be at work by I’m with JGHue promo this Web Exclusive as much as you can
I am definitely going to be there. This is awesome.
I think a short video on YouTube promoting tonight’s show would be a good idea for this one – this is a big deal.
I think it’d be good to ask him if he peed himself at any point during the crash. Or is that too insensitive? Yeah…maybe don’t ask him that.
