I Want to Believe: X-Files Love Song
If you're an X-Files fan, you know that Scully and Mulder carried on a confusing relationship throughout the series. Was it platonic? It seemed like more. Was it a romance? That seems like an overstatement. The complexity of their relationship provided the fodder for our latest TV Guide Broadband contribution. The new movie comes to theaters this Friday, and this was our way of celebrating its release. Enjoy:

Now, when I listen to this song, I'm crying. I love it.
I saw the movie tonight, at the premier here in Sweden, and I was a bit disepointed (not because that they didn't got married, but just that it didn't felt like it used to do). But now when I have herd this song, I'm feeling that I can live on with my dreams of Scully and Mulder forever :)

I just watched this video again and I think the melody to this song is reminiscent of Seals & Croft...I don't know, maybe it's just me. I do know that I REALLY like it!

I have never really watched your show before, but you now have an instant fan in me. I was linked here via an X-files site, and I'm totally looking forward to the movie this weekend. I hear the relationship between Mulder and Scully does play a big part in the film.

that was so confusing, the alien had link's mouth but rhett's voice. maybe it's an offspring of the two? i've heard some aliens are conceived and birthed during comedic song creation... ...maybe it's just a rumor...

that song was funny but i have never watched the x-files so i didnt really know what you were talking about but, i am a HUGE fan of the office and the relationship between Dwight and Angela is one of the funniest parts of the show!
well i loved the alien he had an extremely big head and that is just how aliens should look like.

I caught on to X-Files thru syndicated reruns and I must say that I liked the show better than I had expected I would. I have always routed for Moulder & Scully to to get married! I'm not sure about the 'alien babies' part though. ANYWAY...the best part of this video for me was the tune and the harmony between Rhett&Link, you guys are GREAT! This was a beautiful and haunting melody.

haha another great video! i love the fact that you mentioned Angela and Dwight! i'm a huge fan of the office even though it happens to come on at the same time as your live show...thank goodness for DVR!

I don't know... I think I might waste the $10.00 and give this movie a shot. The trailer looks pretty good. You're X-Files love song has also won me over. The alien made me giggle...Especially when Rhett gave a slight node when the alien mentioned it wanted Scully and Mulder to have alien babies.

nice song fellas but i feel like this song was last minute and the cheese rap totally dominated this video. the cheese rap is in my top 5. i don't know about this one....eh....scratch that. the chorus was really good and i like it how you guys are doing alot of cool editing on your last two videos. kudos and cya on thursday. I also have an idea for a pick of the interlitter. you guys should put this on your live show for sure!!!
