The Internet Overdose Song

Brian Layman (The eHermit)\

This ever-changing landscape we call the internet is overwhelming. Every week, we encounter a new site or online service that beckons our registration. So we’re constantly engaging in an all-to-familiar double-layered internal debate.

Layer 1: do I have time to sign up for this?…vs…what’s the coolness quotient for being an early adopter? And, though time may equal money; isn’t coolness priceless?

So on we move to Layer 2: shall I use my same old password (further increasing my chances of online identity theft)…or…shall I invent a new password which I will never write down and immediately forget (this includes adding a “1″ to the end of my same old password)?

Enjoy our musical treatment of the subject. We produced this video as the theme song for the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association’s annual conference, FEED. And we’ll actually be there in Minneapolis on Oct 1 to perform the song live.
