Two nights ago I had a wild dream! We have a commuter train that was just completed in our area. the dream was about how the train went rogue and was tearing through the community and knocking down all of the houses. I was trying frantically to get away, the ground was trembling as I tried to get everything together, and the big train was all puffing smoke and going a hundred and fifty miles per hour. it was wildly intense!!! Scary train with evil eyes… I’m excited for tonight ya’ll!!!

Hola!!! How exciting for tonight, I look forward to this almost as much as I look forward to LOST… But you guys are more dependable… The most intense dream I’ve had in recent memory: It started with me walking into a huge amazing mansion. Of course, the doors locked behind me. Then there was that ‘evil’ entity, have no idea what or who it was, that started coming after me. So I started running away. But the house was actually a candy facotry, and there was lava flowing toward me too. So I started climbing this sixty foot tall figure made out of like brittle or toffee or something, but of course the lava started melting it. So I was climbing, and the figure was tilting to the side as it melted into the lava. Finally I got to the top, jumped onto another pile of candy, got through a crack in the stone wall and ended up in a kitchen looking through bowls…. weirdest dream ever, but i love that I had it.
I have to ask… is there a way for me to watch this non live? – see I’m in Wales, and it’ll be on at 2am here, and I need to be in work and so cannot stay up to watch
Last week, I dreamed (dreamt? dreamed) one of my friends was walking out of school and was stopped by Obama and Hilary in a red BMW. Obama smiled and said “You have perfect toes, how would you like to be the first female president?”
She responded with a witty declination that I can’t think of immediately. Or ever.

I’ve had some weird dreams… When I was on winter break about a month ago, I had some crazy weird dreams…
I remember I having a dream where Rhett was singing in the pudding isle of a grocery store with his guitar. When he finished, he held his hand up and said, “Please don’t buy me Burger King after this.” I have no idea where Link was but when I woke up I was in a confused state as to why I would be dreaming about that… :-S
The next night I had a dream that Link was trying to sell the Megatator out of a vending machine… Total weirdness that I had these dreams back to back…. They make no sense but at the time, I was getting an unusual amount of sleep because I didn’t have classes….

I had a dream a few days ago where I was fighting a friend of mine on a local train station, both of us were weilding large multicoloured sticks, similar to those jousting spears that medieval knights had, but wildly coloured. Then the next thing I could remember was rescuing him from a zoo enclosure which housed about 10 angry Janet Jacksons….
I think there is probs some freudian explanation for the multicoloured jousting spears thing, but who knows about the zoo part…

random comment: My two year old will do everything in her power not to vomit. I thought all kids were like my older daughter, when she’s sick we have to throw the bucket in front of her and hope she doesn’t turn at the last minute. But my younger one will stand with her head tilted back and both hands covering her mouth. The out come is pretty gross and we keep trying to convince her that if she would just puke in the bucket she’ll feel better. So I look forward to finding how (and if) you over came your resistance.
I recently had a dream where I met Miley Cyrus. Right before I went to bed I looked at a picture where one of my friends had cropped his head into a person that Miley was hugging, so I guess that worked my way into my subconscious. Then I talked with her about lucid dreaming and how you have to constantly question whether you’re awake or asleep to do it. I concluded that I was awake and not dreaming in the dream. lol
Dreams, eh? Okay, I’ll chip in with a weird one. I recently had a dream that I was sleeping. No, seriously. I dreamed that I was looking down on myself, in my bed, sleeping. That was the entire course of the dream. Parenthetically, this dream had taken place after I came off a 30 hour stretch of video editing for an important client (of course I took breaks, but yes, I edited for 30 straight hours!).
I’m not totally sure if I was too exhausted to have a “real” dream, or if in my subconscious, sleeping was the only thing I really wanted. I will say it’s the only time in my live I’ve ever dreamed of sleep.
The only thing I am left wanting to know is, in my dream, what was I dreaming?
Favorite private investigators making a web comeback? Can’t wait!

The newest one was I wake up, and E.T. and Alf are at the end of my bed, making out. I’d love to see what you guys think of that ^_^

My husband had a weird scary dream that he didn’t tell me (’cause the kids were within listening distance), but he started yelling in his dream, and therefore yelling out loud. It woke me up and I poked him (I know, I’m so kind) until the yelling stopped. In the morning he told me that while he was yelling in his dream he thought “Oh good, now Mel can wake me up to get out of this nightmare”. Funny how the mind works.

I didn’t read your comment earlier, but after doing so, I thought I’d post this for anyone having those sorts of dreams. It was useful to me.
If you find that you have a lot of dreams where you’re in danger, especially dreams where you’re trying to run away from danger but can’t escape (for example you’re being chased, but it’s as if you can’t move or you move in slow motion), you should bring it up with your doctor.
Frequent nightmares might be a sign of sleep apnea, a serious ailment that can kill even the most healthy of people (Reggie White, the football star, had apnea, which was the cause of his death). Most everything is covered by insurance. I got diagnosed with apnea a couple years ago, and it’s a night and day improvement.
Sure, some nightmares might be inspired by bad pizza, but if you have them regularly, it won’t cost much to check it out.
Dang it! I have pit orchestra rehearsal every Thursday night now so I’m always missing your live show!

Thanks for the warning, I really appreciate it. Though to be perfectly honest I rarely remember my dreams so this one was pretty unusual. But I’ll definately keep that in mind if it is ever a problem. I thank you once again, and respect useful information like that!!!!
My most interesting dream to date had me in Donovan McNabb’s house trying to arm a bomb. Guess who came to the rescue – Dan the Montage Man!
Also, I haven’t thrown up since I had the flu at age 8. Sixteen strong years and counting!

I had a dream where old style CRT type televisions were engaged in an epic battle against the flat pannel televisions that are slowly driving the CRT’s out to extinction.
Then I realized it wasn’t a dream and became sad. 
Although not recent, two freakish dreams I’ve had
1) involved killer palm trees with lasers shooting from them during a 3rd world war

I really enjoyed the show last night! Talking about dreams and all, I told myself, “Lets see if Rhett’s ‘Dream Stuff’ works.” So, I took a look at the Chinese fan on my wall, and I said, “i’m going to remember my dream!” (just like Rhett and the little door in his room) and then I said, “Rhett also read that you should “think about an emotional problem before you go to sleep and you may get deeper insight on the issue. (or, something along those lines) So, I thought to myself, “why think of an emotional issue and dream about it when i can dream about happy things?” so I thought of the Rhett and Link show, and everything you guys talked about; Rhett’s cool looking shirt and Link’s spiderman tatoo, and guess what happend….I actually had a dream about you guys!
I drempt Link was sick (which you are) and Rhett said, “Since your sick, you take my spot and I’ll sit out the show for you.” and Link was said, “That doens’t make any since Rhett….And plus I can’t run the show alone.” So Link cut his hair to look like Rhett’s (which was a weird haircut on link) and my friend Daniel quickly grew out his hair like Link’s. and Daniel and Link ran the show. But It wasn’t so great because Link was trying to act like Rhett, tried to do the eyebrow thing, (that failed) he was sick, zoned out, and Daniel tried to act like Link, and he just wasn’t funny. So I had to call in and tell Daniel to get off the show, and that it was the Rhett & Link show. Not the Daniel and Link show…
Anyway, I just thought I’d share that since part of the show was on dreams…. everything Rhett was talking about really works! Honestly I’m not lying about this.

Okay, so I’m very excited about tonight. I can’t hardly wait!!! Anyways, I have something to share with you all. I’ve been subscribed to your podcast on itunes ever since I ‘discovered’ you guys. So naturally, I had downloaded ever single one of those past podcasts, which were quite a few. Then you guys did whatever it was that you did so that the podcast would be updated pretty constantly, as such, itunes downloaded every single podcast again. Alright, fine, I can handle duplicates. Then, this morning after charging my iPod I grab it and go. Only to discover that you have taken it over!! every single one of my ‘artwork’, whether for other podcasts, or just my plethora of music, has your guys’ face on it. It’s crazy!!! Did you plan this? Is it some form of the Ipod virus that you all talked about in the Dead Ipod song? What’s going on????

First of all, the duplicates thing will probably happen for everybody, especially if your itunes settings are set to download all unwatched episodes. My itunes is set to download only the 3 most recent, so that wasn’t an issue for me. If it’s any consolation, those new files are actually different and higher quality than the old ones…so you can delete the older ones, except for a few of the REALLY old ones that are only on the old feed.
As for the Rhett&Link takeover of your ipod, I have no clue. That shouldn’t have happened…all we did was change the feed address for our podcast. Anybody know what’s going on?

I got two words for ya: Doom Seed.
Seriously though, iPods are “smart” devices, in that the software keys on things you do a lot, and pushes them to the forefront. For example, downloading several dozen episodes of the Rhett&Linkast might make your podcast think that this is your new obsession for the week, and therefore, it draws every image related to R&L to the forefront. Try deleting all the duplicitous files and resyncing. If that doesn’t work, you might need to reformat the iPod, but honestly, I’d bet that if you just keep using it as you usually do, the software will eventually revert to your “normal”.
Just a thought.
PS-On the other hand, what’s wrong with an iPod that’s been Pimped with R&L? It would almost be as cool as a somecallmejim-pimped iPod.

Yep, I have 88 new Rhett&Link podcasts to watch, because after the new ones came out, all of the rest that I hadn’t downloaded were added to my iTunes as well (not that this is a problem).

Thats why I’m currently embracing the first media format I was even exposed to as a human by raiding the cassette tape section of local thrift stores.
Its so easy to figure out. Put tape it. Hit play. Fast forward or rewind to section of tape one wants to listen. Enjoy music.
So much simpler than IPods.

Ah, tapes. In the late 90’s/early 2000’s I used to be the tape insert graphic artist/sound engineer for a small recording label in Omaha. They only produced albums on cassette tape (can you really call a cassette tape release an “album”?!?), even though CD technology was dirt cheap. I still have some of the tapes from bands they had signed. No, I don’t listen to the tapes, but they’re doing a great job boosting my camcorder to exactly the right spot to shoot YouTube videos
So here’s the deal, the artwork that their pictures were showing up on, was every album cover, which was interesting, and every picture was different, which added some zest. Anyway, I ended up resetting and then resyncing said iPod, and everything is jolly again. It even deleted all the duplicate podcasts which was pretty sweet. It was a strange phenomenon though, oh the pain that we go through for our technology, but without it, what would i do????
In relation to what MJ was talking about…. I have duplicates of almost all your podcasts. I’ve been going through the tedious process of deleting all the extras. Not that I don’t mind seeing extras of you guys, but….. It makes it difficult to sync my iPod. But that’s ok!
