My Robot Girlfriend

\

We’re enjoying our gig as musical correspondents for Brink. The show’s producers tell us about an upcoming show topic, then we pen a little ditty that offers a humorous insight into the matter. This week’s show was about robots and artificial intelligence. The recent advancements in robot technology, including robots that can learn and interact, leads to the question: will lonely people replace human contact with robot relationships? We think so, and maybe it’ll look a little like our new song. For those of you who missed the TV debut of My Robot Girlfriend, we present it to you as good, old-fashioned web video:

If you’re wondering what the Badgers Hate Mongeese T-shirt is all about, let me direct your attention to our Wales Song from two years ago. We’re selling a limited edition “Badgers hate Mongeese” T-shirt, just like the one in this video, at our District Lines T-shirt store. Go pick one up for the support of Internetainment here!

Thanks again to Billy Reid for the awesome visual he created for this song. Head over to his blog and let him know how much you like his work!

Also, we’re excited to announce that our first Brink contribution, the Space Junk Song, was selected by Wired Magazine as one of the Top 10 Science Music Videos (we got number 6).
