NYC Screening of Our Movie, Plus Last Night’s Show

Brian Layman (The eHermit)\

Our feature length documentary, Looking for Ms. Locklear, is having it’s official NYC premiere at the ACE Film Festival this Saturday in Manhattan. The film plays at New World Stages (click link for directions) at 8PM, this Saturday, Sept. 6th. Tickets are available here and at the door.

Link and his lovely wife will be there, while I will be holding the fort down in Fuquay. If you’re planning to come, you can RSVP on Facebook. Come up and introduce yourself. We’ll be updating the Films page soon to include screening dates and locations, so you can check back there to see if/when the movie is playing in your area. Thanks for supporting us in our filmmaking endeavors. It’s one of the many pieces of the Rhett&Link pie, and the success of this film could help determine when we make our next one.

And now, back to the internet…if you’ve got an hour to kill, or you like to passively enjoy internetainment while working, check out last night’s show. It was replete with technical issues, but hey, that’s what makes it cutting edge, right? And, appropriately, it doesn’t start at the right time. But here it is for you to consume:

As we mentioned on the show, keep an eye out for a Major Rhett&Link Music Video Release on Monday. Have a good weekend.

Great show guys! Thank you so much for doing your segments, I missed those so much!

I actively enjoy your internettainment at work. Sometimes I respond to things you say and my coworker has no idea what I’m talking about!

Well, as you boys may know,
NYC is quite a whiles way from Alabamy.

But, I’m definitely going to try my hardest to make it out to the Knoxville showing, seeing as it’s only a couple o’ hours from here.

    Also.
That music video is quite possibly going to be your most epic thing ever, methinks.

Great show-and the technical issues and how you handled them just made it better. I watched the trailer for the Mrs. Locklear movie. Will the full version be available to buy at some time??

Thanks for all of your entertainment!

Guys, once again, you are great! That show was so funny! Part of it was because of all the technical difficulties which were so many that I just had to find it amusing… at your expense :) A couple times in the show I was drinking water and nearly spewed it forth and/or choked on it because you’d make me have to laugh right as I got a mouth full. But I survived. Thanks for another night of fun internetainment! Looking forward to the new video on Monday!

Great show…gotta figure out how to block mean people..
Or hunt that guy down and make him scream that ugly word.
    What a jerk!!
Good luck in NY and congrats on the baby!!
    Love you guys.
    I’m passing the word.

Even though the technical difficulties made the show a wee bit stressful, it made it a memorable one! I wish you guys the best of luck on figuring out all the mishaps.
btw, I fully agree with the CBE winners! I loved the Cheese Battle one!

I was fascinated by Rhett’s look into the future, especially the part about the holographic teachers, etc.

Is anyone old enough to remember the old Mike Douglas talk show from WAY back when, like in the early 70′s maybe? I remember seeing a show where Mike had a guest talk about how holograms were coming ‘soon’ to television programing. The man said that TV shows would be 3D projected into our livingrooms and we could be right in the middle of the action! He even made a holographic image of cowboys playing poker at a table in a saloon and Mike Douglas sat in a chair by the image so it looked like he was playing cards with them! Needless to say, I was impressed.

In the future, will we be able to holographically have Rhett&Link in our livingrooms?

I am leaving a comment despite me missing two-thirds of the show because I am actually in school right now [in computer class] and I’m terribly bored D:
