Strange things have been happening in the Kave lately…
We haven’t seen the orb of death since that mysterious day.
We hope you enjoyed our experimental video, because we’d like to do more of these scripted sketch comedy videos this year. We learn a lot each time we put one of these together. So what did you think? Should we do more of these? Of course, we’ve got more music videos and other stuff coming town the line anyway.
I love your ketches and the sketch / song combos. Your expressions and quirky, weird, original, hammy, spontaneous, courageous sketches are The Best!! Please keep ‘em coming!

Haha loved it set it to all my friends (even my non-mythical beast friends) it was a little confusing not sure how many videos of videos there were but it was still awesome (and im a little sad that the mythical beast shoe doesnt come in my size what about small footed mythical beast!?!?! should come in atlest a size 3 and up)

I liked it. Very different from your normal stuff, but I found it humorous. Link’s laugh-attack reaction to the orb in the first part was hilarious. Cool effect too, I’m impressed by the orb.
As I was watching, I was thinking “I’d love to see outtakes from this” and then there WERE some at the end. Awesome.
I have to 2nd what palestrawberrygirl said above, thank you SO much for keeping things clean. I love that I can hit ‘play’ on any of your vids and it never even crosses my mind to worry about the content. Please don’t ever change or sacrifice your standards!!!
Judging by that thing about the outtakes….maybe when I woke up this morning I had the ability to tell the future. Or not. But maybe.

I loved it! It kinda reminded me of “One Man’s Trash,” but with a WAY better camera! When I woke up this morning, I had the ability to chitter like a squirrel. Make more of these–really well thought out!

It had the same effect on me that “Inception” had. In that I said “AHHHH!”, leaned forward (which, in this case, makes little sense… I’m on a laptop) and temporarily lost the ability to form words after watching it.
I call that success. *thumbs up*

I Like this alot. You guys tried to steer clear of the scripted stuff for a while, but you guys do it well. And the more videos, the better!
Creative, funny, entertaining, smart and foolish at the same time – and you’re wondering if you guys should do more of these? – No way! You’re raising the creative/humor bar so high I need the Hubble just to catch a glimpse of it. Every time I tell a joke now I might get a chuckle, but inevitably I’m told, ‘Cute, but not as funny as Rhett and Link.’ You guys are killing me! Literally, I think my sides have split from all the laughter. Keep it up!

I loved the play within a play within a play aspect. Your sketches have always entertained me as much as your songs – sure, I don’t play them in the car, but if it makes me laugh, I call it a success. I look forward to see what’s coming next.

I think it was pretty good, the constant death scenes made you get lost in the video, pretty good. Could’ve explained the orb a little better though.

i loved that special effect, it was so cool! and pretty. i thought it was very artistic to make it a cycle of looking at the computer over and over again, and how the end was the beginning, very creative.
After leaving my first comment, I wandered around your site some more and ran across the Mrs. Locklear video, which I had thought about buying before, but hadn’t. Watched the trailer again, saw there was a coupon, went ahead and ordered it this time. So yeah, I’d call “Orb of Death” a success.
It was cute, and interesting. I don’t know that I would watch it more than once, because it’s kind of a one-trick pony. Once you know the premise, there aren’t clever lyrics or music to make me watch it over and over. And while it’s always fun for your fans to see you, I’m not sure this would be passed around as much by non-mythical beasts.
All that said, not every one of your vids has to be genius. This is plenty entertaining for fans, keeps us thinking of you, and I’m sure it didn’t take nearly the time most of your other stuff does. Matt Koval (another internetainer) is best known for his YouTube series The Fuplers, and his fans definitely like that best, but he also films himself telling anecdotes. Even when an anecdote vid doesn’t rock my world, I’ll often watch an old Fuplers after seeing it, so he’s gotten me to his site. I always remember his name (and yours), so he must be doing something right.
Loved it guys! It was unexpected and had some clever twists. The sketch itself kind of reminded me of Julian Smith. I started watching him after your Perfect Bathroom Trip Song and he’s hysterical.

It was definitely a change of pace, but I loved it! I love that y’all try different things instead of sticking to the same types of videos.
Also, thanks for always being so clean! It’s so hard to find good clean entertainment these days. Every time I turn on the tv, the bad language and crude, sexual jokes/content just keeps getting worse! I love that I can know before I even press play on your video, that I’m going to be able to post it on facebook!

I woke up with the ability to close my eyes and watch Rhett and Link videos whenever I wished.
Love the special effect – now need to add effect that actually changes one or the other to something different, instead of dead – think of the possibilities – snake, bird, car, etc

I must admit to a tinge of disappointment that there was no singing. But kudos on using a special effect and whole-heartedly admitting that you’re making the video so you can use the special effect.
Wow that was hilarious at first I thought it just tickled him but that was so funny there was actually something on afv showing this dog barking at another dog on the tv that was watching afv that was barking at another dog that was barking at another dog and so on anyways awesome video you guys you really nailed it it was awesome =)
