I drove my brother’s electric blue ’67 Volkswagen Beetle (or “Bug” as it is more commonly known) with a drawing of the Pink Panther making a peace sign on the back all the way through my junior year of high school. The highlight was driving up behind a school bus full of kids and seeing the ensuing “punch-bug” fights that would result.

So I can only imagine what kind of reaction this would get:

Is it a Bug? Well, no. Is it a camper? Not completely. Is it some glorious combination of the two? You betcha.

I’ve racked my brain, and I can’t think of an appropriate name for this vehicle. What do you think it should be called? Let us know in the comments and I’ll send a link to the folks over at Volkswagen. Not really. But maybe.
