Last year, YouTuber Wade Johnston invited us to contribute to his “YouTube Christmas Extravaganza 2008″ song cover series. (He didn’t ask us to impersonate Elvis, but we inferred that’s what he wanted.) Enjoy!
Watch all the videos from Wade’s series here, which includes specials guests David Choi, Julia Nunes, and the ever-impressive Pomplamoose among many others!
Leave a comment! “In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas,” sooo…what are YOUR favorite sights/sounds/scents of the season?

Great video, guys! Thank you!
My favorite things about Christmas are seeing the stores full of busy people, walking through a busy store and hearing Christmas music playing throughout the store, the smell of a live Christmas tree, the smell of a cinnamon candle, the smell of my family fixing Christmas dinner, the feeling of being together with my entire family, opening gifts with my family, and seeing the looks on their faces when they open a gift they’ve been wanting, and most of all, knowing the true reason for the season..Jesus Christ born into a world of sin to eventually bleed and die to cover my sins. He is the real reason for the season.
These are just a few of my favorite things at Christmas
P.S…One more thing…Watching Rhett & Link Spanner Christmas commercials!!
Whgile I prefer a good Christmas novelty tune, ya gotta love a good cover of a traditional tuneinspired by the holiday… nice job guys.
O Mr Link, I put 3 videos in the forums in the discussion area. Have you seen these? Silver bells, 12 days of Christmas and Jingle bells done with super notes. Is there more that I haven’t seen? I look and I don’t find more.
All 3 are pretty clever and of course Awesome!!!
ha ha, I actually listened to your and Wade Johnston’s version of Silver Bells while I was still at school. Then I had to go on iTunes and purchase three different versions of Silver Bells…an instrumental version, a classic version with Bing Cosby and Carole Richards, and then a rock-ish version by Relient K. Personally, I LOVE Christmas music and that’s one of my favorite parts about the holidays!
My favorite sights and sounds of the season are little kids at thhe mall talking to Santa Claus, having a dinner with the family and opening presents. Listening to Rhett and Link sing Silver Bells the list is endless. As, always you guys totally rock!!
Your strings got a sweet tone.
I had to listen to this more than once. And then I realized how I would LOVE to have a Rhett and Link Xmas album!! You guys covering the basic classics. Yep, I would buy that! Merry Christmas, Rhett and Link and all your family!!
