Thanks to the uber-talented Billy Reid for helping to make the T-Shirt War video what it is. Billy’s behind-the-scenes video really captures some of the work that went into the project:

Hello?! The S.E.T.I. Song

Link (Chiasquatch)\

Alien Week continues with our new song, Hello (the S.E.T.I Song). S.E.T.I. (The Search for Extraterrestrial Life) is a fascinating concept. There are people who spend their lives listening to the skies for any sign of alien life. The government used to support this venture, but it is currently upheld by private donations (notable investors include co-founder of Microsoft, Paul Allen, who has donated tens of millions to S.E.T.I. research). This song, originally created for the Science Channel’s show Brink, captures a day in the life of two S.E.T.I. researchers.

Our short stint as musical correspondents for Brink is now over (the show has not been picked up for a second season), so if you know of any TV producers looking for melodic input for their show, send them our way. Special thanks goes out to Billy Reid on this one.  Not only did he create the art and animation for this video (along with Robot GF and Space Junk), but he also produced the song.  That catchy “wee-ooo-wee-ooo-ooo” synth hook and the rappish backing vocals (“whoops-a-daisy!”) are his…not to mention the Canalien vocals (obviously)!  SUBSCRIBE to Billy now!

Space Junk Song Enters Youtube Orbit

\

After making its TV debut a couple of weeks ago on the Science Channel show, Brink, the Space Junk Song has officially launched into Youtube. Do your part to keep this thing in low-earth orbit for as long as possible by sharing it with your friends.

Thanks to Billy Reid for the animation. We could have never pulled this video off without him! We’re partnering with Billy for all our Brink spots. Check out Brink tonight on the Science Channel at 10:30PM (it’s normal time). And, look out for our all-new Robot Girlfriend Song next week (July 13th)!
