Too bad I can't see it. It's just not streaming into my web page. For those of you who CAN see it, enjoy it. Is this the person who read the emergency door instructions as the plane was descending into the Hudson and then opened the door on his side of the plane? If so, good job. I was surprised to find out the manifest had not been released and that someone so level-headed had offered his name in one way or another to be able to recount his story for others. When things like this happen it seems like most people would be out for the fame but he seems to be pretty normal about it all. I do agree with you Rhett, I think I would have been twittering it for everyone and taking pictures (to scrapbook later of course) but I think I would have been trying to get off the plane all the same. The second I heard about the background experience and expertise of "Sully", including his hobby of gliding planes....I knew that God had placed that captain in that plane for that moment. I'm thankful for God's grace. One thing I thought was fascinating was that the person by the exit door had his hand on the knob and had that door open before the other passengers could even open their eyes. I now know that I should never sit in that seat!!! I don't think I'd have my wits about me in a moment like that! Mike...so happy that you are home and safe with your family! I agree with Mike.
