If there’s any question that’s been thrown around by concerned Mythical Beasts in the past few weeks, it’s “When are guys bringing back the live show?” Well, we finally have an answer:
Okay, here are the detailed instructions to make sure you see the live kasts:
1. Become a Mythical Beast by joining the RhettandLinKommunity
2. Click on “Settings” on the right-hand side of the main Kommunity page
3. Click on “Email” on the left-hand column
4. Check the “message from RhettandLinKommunity” (if it isn’t already checked)
5. Click “Save” at the bottom
6. Wait for a message to alert you to time of the next live show!
We will broadcast at different times. We understand that many of you will be in school during the day, so we’ll keep that in mind. Plus, we know that many of you in Europe have had to stay up until the wee hours of the morning in order catch the old show. So, if we’re broadcasting at an inconvenient time, just know that it’s convenient for someone somewhere else in the world.
So, what’s the new name? Or is it the same?

Oh no! I just missed the live kast because the emailing system only gets sent the day after the message is supposed to go out. I got the message during lunch the next day at work. And the part that really makes my eye twitch is that I had Thursday night off
Epp random times? I have irregular work days/hours but I have made sure I have had Thursday nights off for the last year and a half… I still dont want to miss any shows so will you please continue to RECORD YOUR KASTS?
I thoroughly enjoy the spontaneity and secrecy these new Kasts will convey. It makes me feel like im going to be doing something illegal… Its like a whole new high. I like this.

Sounds like an interesting and positive thing! I’ll add my voice to everyone else’s in that I hope these new Kasts will be available for later viewing, for those of us who miss certain ones.

Since you do like subtitles, maybe some of your Scandinavian beasts can get advance copies of any “script” or format, and subtitle them in Danish or Swedish, like the subtitles in Monty Python’s Holy Grail (although they may have been Norweigan). Moose updates would also be welcome.
Two-Eyed, I would have no expectations…it will be subject to our schedule…but we’ll do our best to make it worth it and interactive for those that tune in.
Even though they won’t be at the same day or time, can we still expect this to be a weekly thing??
Cara, in the world of Internetainment, nothing is permanent, but this is the plan for the time-being. We’re going to take that time that we used to commit to the Kast to make more videos. PLus, we’re planning to continue the daily vlogs if we can…so ultimately, we hope this results in more internetainment, not less, and that the live show is actually a better experience for committed mythical beasts!

I’m hoping for some Europe friendly times too. This is awesome! It would also be great if u could inform us about ur show’s airing times earlier than 12 hours before… say 20 hours? OR u could make sure that the time isn’t 4am here when u info us and u air at 4pm

Haha, how about the “Shahbaz&ChiasquatchKast” hmm… doesn’t seem to have that right ring to it… Maybe “KommunityKast” but that’s kind of like the Kommunity Updates… Or even “Beastly Broadkast”… Well, those are all the ideas I’ve come up with so far; can’t wait to hear some others!!
Will you be posting the impromptu “kasts” to the community to watch at a later date if we can’t make it to the stream live?
