During our time in Chicago, we learned that the locals are passionate about food, and even more passionate about which particular food should represent their beloved metropolis. We let dignitaries from Superdawg, Lou Malnati's, and Mr. Beef make their case as to why hotdogs, deep dish pizza, or italian beef was the sanctioned culinary creation of Chi-town. Then, we created our own dish to bring the people of Chicago together. Does the Chicagazebo make your mouth water, or just your head turn? We're excited to welcome Terry Border, star of this week's road trip video, back to the show tonight. He's going to be revealing one of his latest creations, which was inspired by your suggestions in last month's show. We'll also be announcing this month's CBE winners! Join us tonight at 9PM Eastern at the Live Page. Also, we've got some great news about our feature documentary, Looking for Ms. Locklear. Our film has been accepted at 5 film festivals and counting! We received this latest news this week, so sorry for the short notice, but the movie is scheduled to play in Kings Mountain, NC, at the Real to Reel Film Fest this coming Wednesday, July 23rd, around 9:30PM. So, come on out to the festival to see the premiere! If you think you might be able to make it, or if you know of friends you'd like to invite, visit the Facebook event page. We also just created a Facebook film page for the film, so we'd greatly appreciate it if you'd head over there and become a fan. Feel free to join in (or start) the discussion. We're in the process of creating a custom page here on the site for the film, where we'll keep you updated with where/when the film is playing. We've been so busy with our road trip series that we've had trouble finding time to officially launch any film promo stuff, but that will start soon. We met Terry Border a few months back at the Gel Conference. His art had us laughing embarrassingly loud during his presentation. Then, when we were scheduling our road trip stops, we knew we had to stop in Indianapolis and see more of his amazing and amusing "sculpture". Check out more of Terry's work over at his site. The BBQ Song

We can't tell you how many times we've had the "BBQ conversation". In NC, there's a 50% chance it'll happen at any gathering. One guy starts talking about his BBQ preference, then the conversation turns towards a comprehensive rundown of every type of BBQ across the South. We've talked about it so much that we knew that we had to incorporate the concept into a song, and what better fit than in the midst of a series of videos about food? Enjoy: Thanks especially to the Homestead Pickers for backing us up. We literally played the song for them TWICE, then this was the second take. So, this was the fourth time these guys ever heard the song. Thanks also to everyone who provided pictures for the song. We couldn't have done it without you.
