In early 2007, we founded RhettandLinKreations, LLC, a new media production company responsible for everything you see here at RhettandLink.com. We’ve created over 200 videos that have received over 20 million views and gathered an audience of over 65,000 Youtube subscribers. Web Video Campaigns
We have created web videos for Taco Bell, Alka-Seltzer, Food Network, Microbilt, Sanyo, Kotulas, TV Guide, Baby Ruth, Starburst, Hummer, and Cadillac, as well as integrating smaller brands such as Smule, AJJ Cornhole, and iRESQ (click each brand for an example of the campaign). Our philosophy is entertain first, advertise second. We don’t create branded content that is not first and foremost a thoroughly entertaining web video. Our material has managed to consistently break out from the mass of online video content and achieve the holy grail of interactive media: relevance.

Alka-Seltzer Great American Road Trip
In partnership with Proximity BBDO, we created a 21-video series for Alka-Seltzer. The campaign featured a collection of food-centric music videos, man-on-the-street videos, and sketches. The series won the Gold award in the Consumer Goods category at Advertising Age’s 2008 W3 Awards, as well as best online campaign at Adweek’s 2008 Buzz Awards. The series also picked up two Golds (Best Campaign, Best Single) and a Craft award (Music) at the 2009 Bessies. Visit the campaign microsite.
Fast Food Folk Song
Taco Bell hired us to promote their Mt. Dew Baja Blast Blast for Cash campaign. We created the Fast Food Folk Song, an authentic video prank on a Taco Bell drive-thru employee. The video is currently ranked in the top 20 top-rated videos in Youtube History (based on Youtube statistics seen on the video page).
“Local” Commercials
Microbilt asked us to make a series of ads for a few of their customers. We created a campaign called Custom Built, Micro-Budget Commercials for Microbilt Customers. This series of three intentionally “local” feeling commercials (complete with bad edits and ridiculous concepts) generated 2 million views and was featured on CNN and Fox News. The Red House Furniture Commercial went viral and was tweeted by Ashton Kutcher, Rainn Wilson, Weird Al, and Sarah Silverman.
Surrogate Sharers
As part of Digitas’ fall 2008 Share Something Juicy campaign for Starburst, we developed and produced an 8-video series called Surrogate Sharers, in which we shared uncomfortable video messages for people. This was an interactive campaign, where we fielded video topics from our audience.
SuperNote
In the fall of 2008, we launched a Youtube community collaboration called SuperNote, an experiment to find who could hold the longest vocal note on Youtube. The collaboration lasted for 2 months and featured contributions from some of Youtube’s biggest names, including Michael Buckley, Nalts, iJustine, Charles Trippy, Brookers, and others. The campaign resulted in over 2000 user-generated video responses and 2 million views, and culminated in a live event that over 25,000 people watched. Watch the SuperNote Orientation Video.

Theme Song/Jingle Writing & Production
A good number of our popular web videos feature our original comedy songs, written and recorded in our studio. We’re pretty confident we can write a song for just about anything, having already covered the following subjects: Facebook, Badgers in Wales, Dead iPods, Unibrows, and Cornhole just to name a few.
