We moved around a lot when I was growing-up and I found that every place you live leaves its’ mark on you in some way. The thing is, you get to decide what that looks like. I agree with Pam, you seem to have your priorities straight and that’s the main thing. I can’t see either of you turning into dog clothes people…and if it helps, my sister lives in Iowa (heart of the Midwest, pretty straight-laced and normal) and she puts clothes on her dog (only in the wintertime when she takes it outside because her dog is the small-nearly-hairless variety).
