I’m posting my theory of why it is called black friday before I hear the answer even though I am the only one to vouch for this fact but none the less, my theory is that because the day the stock market crashed is called black tuesday so my guess is that the “black” part means that prices are low like the stock prices were low and dropping so no one was making money but in black Friday’s case people are saving money.
